The last few weeks have been quite hectic and interesting at the offices of Pool & Spa News. After much anticipation, we (as you hopefully have noticed) relaunched our website on March 14.
As with any major project of this size and scope, there's expected to be some kinks. We need to tighten a few things here and there, and make some modifications, but mostly, we are up and running. And we're very proud.
We're also very excited about the future of our digital content. Very soon, the website will feature daily updates with the latest headlines about our industry, blog posts from the editors (like this one), and much more. So be sure to check in often to see the changes taking place.
While this is all thrilling, the relaunch also taught us some valuable lessons about the power of SEO and fresh content. In fact, the day we launched, the site received the most traffic ever in its history. I'm hoping this is a foreshadowing of what's to come.
The rehaul also got me thinking about all of you. When was the last time you took a good look at your site and considered jazzing it up? What ever happened to that blog you said you were going to write? Have you posted any new project images to your pages? Or have you refreshed the home page in the last year?
