Master Spas has announced the promotion of four key executives:
Sam Badiac now is executive vice president. He’s been on the management team since the company’s inception nearly 20 years ago, and is a spa industry veteran of more than 35 years. Because of his wide range of experience and expertise, he plays a vital role in the leadership of many different departments, as well as the development and design of new products, according to the company.
Kevin Richards is vice president of sales and marketing. He came to Master Spas right out of college, and started working in water testing. Over the years, he has managed the firm’s retail store and customer service, then moved into the national sales manager position and has been instrumental in developing the dealer network. Richards is a 19-year company veteran.
Nathan Coelho is vice president of engineering. He started as the customer service manager, then was director of engineering for the past four years. Coelho has successfully led large-scale company initiatives and driven innovation for 11 years. He also chaired the Engineering Committee for the International Hot Tub Association for five years.
Mike Rees is vice president of manufacturing. A spa industry veteran of 29 years, he began as a consultant to Master Spas, then accepted the position of director of manufacturing eight years ago.
“Sam, Kevin, Nathan and Mike have been instrumental in the significant growth of Master Spas during a time when the spa industry has had negative growth,” said CEO Bob Lauter. “We are proud to recognize their contributions to our collective success with these promotions.”
