Brand & Retail Marketing Manager

The Brand & Retail Marketing Manager will expand the development of the SpaBoutique™ accessories business at Marquis®, and assist development of retail marketing concepts to assist our network of dealer customers. The SpaBoutique™ Brand Manager tasks will include coordination of all of the facets of product planning, sourcing, packaging, sales support and market penetration of the SpaBoutique™ products, including sell-in communication with dealers and Marquis Account Executives. The Retail Marketing Manager tasks will include development of Marquis® and SpaBoutique™ marketing programs and materials that can be made available to our network of dealers. The corporate stores of Marquis will be the laboratory for testing, refinement and validation of the concepts.

An ideal candidate will have experience in retail marketing and sales; product management experience; as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The position is one among several leadership roles on a strong marketing team, and the ability to simultaneously work effectively within a team and in leadership of specific areas is essential. Knowledge of the pool and spa industry and its water care products is preferred. An entrepreneurial sense of ownership and motivated commitment to growing a business is required.

The position reports to the VP of Marketing and is based at Marquis Corp headquarters outside Salem, Oregon, in the town of Independence. Telecommuting is not an option. Periodic business travel around the country is expected.
