When your business is growing and becoming more successful, a new look is often required to reflect those positive changes. That’s why Zac Nicklas, co-owner/president of the Swimming Pool Warehouse in League City, Texas, has spent the last few months overseeing a renovation.
The business began in 2016 as merely the retail section of Nicklas’s Pool Boys service company, and has been growing exponentially. The top-to-toe makeover includes new flooring, paint, and a new front counter, in addition to a completely redesigned store layout.
The process began shortly after he returned from the Association of Pool & Spa Professional’s retail boot camp, which was held shortly before the 2016 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo in New Orleans. “It was most definitely the kick off,” said Nicklas. The seminar included lots of helpful renovation tips, and even prompted Nicklas to move his water-testing station to the back of the store so that customers would have a chance to see (and hopefully purchase) more products.
The renovations will be completed within the next few weeks; just in time to complement the company’s new e-commerce website. Beginning early next week customers will be able to have products delivered to them or have them ready for curb-side pickup.
