To look at me now you might not believe it, but when I was in high school I was something of a beach bum. And when I wasn’t at the beach, I was out on the water on a boat.
Now, being young and foolish, I didn’t wear sunscreen. In fact, I did the opposite, using baby oil so I’d get a better tan. Hey, looking good is important!
You can see where this is going, right? Over the past several years, I’ve had some suspicious looking bumps removed from my arms and my face. I’m fine, but I’ve got a couple “beauty marks” where the doctors did their work.
Pool techs spend about as much time in the sun as anyone. So, while you’re out on your route this summer, do your skin a favor and wear a nice big floppy hat and plenty of sunscreen. It’s no fun having a doctor whittle away at your extremities.

I’ve been writing this blog for several weeks now. I hope it’s of some interest to you. Soon, we’ll be adding blogs from pool techs I’ve lined up from around the country who I know will have some interesting and informative ideas on the service business. In the meantime, I want to hear from you! If you’re reading this, drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll give you (or at least some of you) a shout-out in next week’s blog.
