The National Swimming Pool Foundation has hired Lauren Stack as mission development director – national accounts. In this role, she will help NSPF “prevent contraction due to tragic drowning, illness and injury, and to facilitate growth by encouraging more fun and fitness through aquatic activity,” NSPF CEO Thomas Lachocki, Ph.D., stated in a press release.

Stack has more than 20 years’ industry experience. Most notably, she served in high-profile roles with APSP over the past nine years. As director of public affairs & industry promotion and senior director, industry relations, Stack led growth initiatives, PR and marketing campaigns, industry research, communications, restructuring efforts for the association, and more. “I’m very excited to put my skills and industry experience to work for the National Swimming Pool Foundation as it continues to move the pool and hot tub industry forward by getting more people in the water for better health and a longer life,” Stack stated.

NSPF also has announced the promotions of four team members in response to growing demand for its training materials and programs. In new positions are Alex Antoniou, chief marketing and information officer; Michelle Kavanaugh, mission development director for the USA and Canada; Natalie Strong, senior customer service specialist; and Paloma Betancourt, international mission development specialist.
