Attendees can take their trade show experience beyond the floor this year by downloading the show’s interactive trade show mobile app.

“Show managers and associations have had to look at new ways to reach people,” says Trish McCormick, show manager at NESPA.

The app includes show floor maps and agenda details, plus it extends the show reach. Exhibitors already have been uploading unique content, including product information, logos and videos that attendees can view before the show even starts.

In addition, McCormick says, attendees can use the app to plan their show experience in advance by setting up appointments.

“Attendees can carry the show around in their pockets, and it’s not just a four-day show anymore,” she adds.

In previous years, the show had a mobile-friendly website, but this dedicated app contains so much more, McCormick says. “This is more advanced, more interactive,” she adds.
