A New Jersey contractor has been sentenced in the second criminal case brought against him in two months for not completing work that his company had contracted to do. In April Donald Tallman, vice president of Water World Fiberglass Pools Inc., an installer/manufacturer in Hammonton, was sentenced to three years in prison for two counts of writing bad checks.

Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury also ordered Tallman to pay $790 in restitution.

According to a court spokesman, Tallman will serve that term concurrently with another three-year sentence he received in Cape May County for a similar theft charge, to which he pleaded guilty.

Tallman still faces civil lawsuits, including a case filed against him by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
