Floating pools are growing in popularity as more cities throughout the world are adding them to their public spaces. Most recently, we witnessed the power of crowdfunding and its ability to support a massive undertaking like the +Pool in Manhattan's East River. And now, a campaign to bring a similar open-air structure to London is building momentum. Will the River Thames be the next place to get the floating pool treatment? Architect Chris Romer-Lee hopes so.
“I think it’s a European thing and London is late to the party,” the architect told The Guardian.
