Residential Pools with a Vanishing Edge, 601 sq. ft. or more

The designers of this project sought to maximize the relationship between the home and pool, as well as the city beyond. Set in an outdoor room, the kidney-shaped plaster pool, featuring a 24-foot vanishing edge, abuts the home’s living space. On the outer edge, two 4-by-15-foot polycarbonate panels, each outfitted with a sheet waterfall tank, provide a watery frame for the city lights. In addition, two underwater viewing windows provide a vantage point for people in the basement to gaze into the pool.
