The symmetry of this pool and spa combination is evident, from the planters and in-pool steps to twin stairways that lead to an upper-level structure. Both the pool and raised spa have their own automatic covers. Limestone coping, bull-nosed on site, masks the cover boxes and contrasts with the brick decking arranged in a herringbone pattern. The 5-foot-wide sheet waterfall that splashes into the pool operates whether the cover is open or closed.
